just talk to a colleague who came form Vavuniya, she is devastated, says madness there as well as here,there it is the human tragedy, here rejoicing over an unfinished conflict…and sufferings,

talk to a journalist who covered the attack on British high commission in CMB.  SLRC, the state controlled TV was there to give a live telecast! it was a organised attack, not spontaneous, people had come from outs stations….

had a text from a colleague goes like that: we were stopped at Narahenpita junction, it was like a dansala, we were asked to have some kiribath, they were wearing national flags and singing patriotic songs form old days, don’t show your face there ….

had a call from former colleague. he said no body of Prabha found yet. his brother is in the theater of war right in the last battle.. he must have committed suicide or escaped, 160 bodies had been thoroughly examined still 60 + bodies were there to examined.. but he was more less sure that prabha’s body wont be found,

he said the story of Prabha trying to escape in a ambulance  is a fake,  he would have escaped much ealier or killed him self…..so there goes another misinformation…..war reporting SL style..?

E mail from Nepal says we are saddened, is that true? true or not we may not know for some time…but armed struggle of LTTE is over, now it is time for a paradium shipt for Tamil nationalism….

will killings stop?  difficult to predict. hunt for tigers and traitors will continue.

when Wijeweera was killed JVP  went on a killing spree,  will the same thing happen?

what ever happens this mark the end of an era. armed struggle for Tamil Eelam is over.

if Prabhakaran cannot win Eelam no one else go that close.

LTTE will remain as a idea and may come back,

for Tamil people immediate future looks bleak!it will be military rule for some years to come.

for south Sinhalese will offer MR all the power he ask.

democracy and press freedom will take a back seat.

we are facing a long winter…

Today  17th May 2009 President MR  was on TV to announce that he has united the country by defeating the LTTE.  LTTE has been defeated in a conventional war.

New era begins.

Will Tamil militancy come back? Will Tamil Nationalism choose democratic politics instead of armed struggle? Will Sri Lanka government come to terms with  the Tamil nationalism for self rule or try to suppress Tamil nationalism? How long Sl gov. will keep Vanni civilians in militarily controlled camps? What does it mean by  Northern spring by the gov? Will Sl military continue to be 99%  Sinhalese? How many militay camps are going to come up in Vanni region? Will Tamil prople wellcome Sinhala Army?  Will there be a change of heart on both sides? Or this will be a pause until both sides say no to each other?

Will gov allow media freedom? Will governance and human rights will be back on the track?
